SUMMERFEST
Formerly known as “Ginfest”, we’ve been holding these events at the Sweeney since 2016, including a socially distanced one in 2020. Back in 2016, we were purely about the Gin, with 20 distillers coming in to show off their wares, accompanied by live music & great food.
Since then we’ve upped the anti, re-branding as “Summerfest”, where the distillers can show our guests not only their Gins, but Rums, Whiskeys & Vodkas.

OKTOBERFEST
We held our first Oktoberfest in 2020, and it has become a core part of the Sweeney calendar.
Featuring show stopping entertainment from the Bierkeller Boys, our Oktoberfest is a night full of beer, dancing, beer, food, beer, entertainment, and I’m not sure if we’ve mentioned it, but there is lots of beer.

BONFIRE NIGHT
We held our first Bonfire Night Fireworks Display at the Sweeney in 2020, with fireworks from Solid Gold, street food stations, hot chocolate, mulled wine & more.
We offer a range of fantastic packages for Bonfire Night, from tables for six on our heated, covered decking to our incredible clear dining domes with food and drink included, where you can see the fireworks at their finest.
